Re: Southwest Colorado - A birdseye view
HOLY SHIT. Nice pics of a rare part of the U.S. that seems unspoiled by all the trash throwing D-Bags this country has to offer. Your hiking prowess rules as well. You can breathe now.

Re: iPhone/AT&T question?
Here you go mister816. Oh by the way ATT also scored better in the latest customer service rankings than Sprint as well. AT&T has a 75 percent chance of keeping the device, made by Apple Inc., through 2011, analysts Jonathan Chaplin and Bill Shope said in a report. That could be 12 to 18 months...

Re: Any available info on 108th St. near I-435?
I've got nothing. I'm sure 108th Street will be next after 96th Street is completed. FYI last time it was warm out I rode my bike down the new street which connects 96th Street with 108th Street and passes on the westside of Kellybrook elementary. Pretty cool somewhat hilly and winding road. A f...

Re: Wizards could ditch Bannister site in favor of Wyandotte County
I love it. Your Governor is talking about raising taxes while you'll be giving additional tax breaks to crap like the Wizards. Your state would offer Star bonds for a new TG&Y if they were still around.

Re: iPhone/AT&T question?
Seriously I want to hear the reasons you'd return an iPhone and go back to Sprint. I understand they're less expensive but seriously if you're that broke take a get out of jail card and go straight to Boost.

Re: OFFICIAL: Proposed KCK Casino
No matter how shitty this place will be I'm just glad it's finally approved. I'm tired of the Kansas City media covering this project. Is our town this hard up for news and something exciting to talk about regarding gambling on the Kansas side? Grid, regarding the soccer complex and Cerner develo...

Re: OKC unveils proposed streetcar system
At the least, OKC feels they can invest as a region to move out of the "Wichita + Des Moines" sphere and make downtown and the urban core a desirable and attractive place to attract businesses, residents and tourists, and to put the city on the map. KC needs to be thinking more like OKC ...

Re: Houston Pavillions (dwntwn houston)
Good to see retail finally arriving in downtown Houston albeit late. At least they were smart enough to locate the baseball stadium and arena downtown plus a good starter light rail line that will get three new line additions in the next 5-10 years. Houston, TX probably the one of the top 5 divers...

Re: KC grows in census challenge
I'm not saying people in MO are any better with race relations than those in KS, but for the most part, JoCo has avoided the issue and for the most part, it was no accident. Pull up any demographic map showing the history of black migration and you will see how it has moved into South KC (near sout...

No sh*t what an eyesore. TSC still has it beat. Surrounded by a rundown I-70 & 435 interchange, a closed for decades GM plant, an import parts lot and a WWII rundown housing stock.

Now where's the follow-up letter about the failure of parents. From high divorce rates to substance abuse to child abuse to living out of their means, to not knowing where there kids are, to no assistance with homework etc. etc. F- is deserved.

Geez what a clueless ass country we live in.Right. So if they are dumped on the system WE get to pay for their health care. Welcome to the argument for health care reform.

Healthcare after they retire isn't guaranteed is it? Even when the Fed's bail them out? What about bailing out these companies that have all these jobs overseas?

I actually do know what Steve & Barry's is. All my clothing I've purchase from them the past 5 years I still wear. Guess I better make a roadie to Springfield to get more Missouri State gear. Way way less expensive than the campus bookstore and ripoff places such as Dillard's or Dick's.

Re: total auto industry employment in KC?
If the US auto industry collapses, we likely move from a bad recession into a depression. We may get over, but it will take many years and probably some desperate times for a lot of us. I don't like bail outs but the consequences of a failed auto manufacturing industry are pretty grim. What we p...

So I'm sitting here watching the Chiefs game (I need my daily dose of comedy) and I don't know how many Dodge and Chevy truck commercials I've seen. These companies (The Big 3) are a joke. Just go ahead and admit you don't give 2 shits and never have about fuel economy. This same crap went on in ...

Re: Collison: KC can learn a lot from Des Moines
I'm probably one of the few that absolutely loves the DSM metro area. The downtown area is cool but here's where I draw the line not only when you compare downtown DSM to KC but also metro DSM to KC. Des Moines is the capitol city and focal point of the entire state. KCMO definitely doesn't fall i...

Re: Sprint loses another million customers
Dunno. I understand people's perception of Sprint's bad customer service. But I think the marketing should have been revamped long ago. The PowerUp and then the Now Network campaign is freaking awful. The need to be deceptive and lie in there advertising just like Verizon and ATT does. It seems...
