Re: Phase Three Streetcar Expansion

Here's more of the early P&L design. They came from here if anyone's interested. https://williamcorneli.wordpress.com/2006/09/18/power-light-district-kansas-city-mo/ https://williamcorneli.files.wordpress.com/2013/02/portfolio2-101.jpg https://williamcorneli.files.wordpress.com/2013/02/power_log...

Re: Misc Crossroads News

Lane building was still standing today. Looked untouched. I'm no demolition expert, but it seems like this is taking a while.

Re: We need a new airport!!!

Design-wise, the appearance needs some work. The renderings were pretty underwhelming outside of the neat fountain gimmick and the roof design.

Obviously that is down the road a bit but it's a good point as the current 3 terminal configuration is not very conducive for a light rail connect.

Yeah, it's good they're at least thinking about it.

Re: We need a new airport!!!

Edgemoor is looking at/ is planning to design the terminal so that it can be connected to light rail in the future. This would mean designing everything with room for tracks and a station. He mentioned they would design it so that it could use either rail or BRT. Additionally, Uber and Taxi Drivers...

Re: Misc Crossroads News

Re: Misc Crossroads News

It would be a shame for a building this old to be demolished, even if it isn't an architectural marvel. Seems like at least the facade could be preserved

While I'd be fine with either of the designs I've submitted here, I think I actually like the first one a bit better....
