Re: Three Light

It's certainly an interesting design but just a minor observation, the rendering is different than the missing diagrams. The condo levels, in the rendering, appear to be all glass while the massing diagram shows shaded window dividers. Second, the "3" along the roof isn't featured in the rendering a...

Re: St. Louis' 4101 Manchester

Thanks WSP....I've seen that. I didn't know if some of the STL folks might have more info. The Foundry is chugging along. They are putting up the new roof now and will begin erecting the parking garage, movie theater, retail and office building soon. No other tenants have been announced that I know...

Re: St. Louis' 4101 Manchester

My initial reaction to it (based on the first two photos) is that it looks like a modern church/synagogue. Some are saying that it looks brutalist. I don't really have an idea on the architecture style. It has curved glass on the upper floors but concrete elsewhere. This will need to be something t...

St. Louis' 4101 Manchester

A crazy new design for the Grove wedge lot was unveiled recently. This s 4101 Manchester. I thought I would post it here since it caused quite the stir on St. Louis Development Forums. It sure is a break away from the previous design (which can be seen here: https://trivers.com/project/the-grove-mix...

Kevin Collison will have a story on this tomorrow. He may or may not have any new information. It's a nice project overall but I wonder how the design will change overtime.

https://media.bizj.us/view/img/11294592/c011*750xx4000-2250-0-25.jpg I wonder if the colors will be similar to the Loews Hotel. It looks like an interesting design but the tan colors are meh. Maybe they are doing this to honor the Performing Arts Center. I don't know. I assume CannonDesign is still...

Re: Ballpark Village v4.7 (st. louis)

three cranes over downtown st. louis is pretty surreal. used to seeing cranes over nashville like that but not (downtown) st. louis...its a good look! i'll be sad when they start taking down all of these cranes visible along I-64. there's like 7 of them right now between the arch and forest park an...

Re: Ballpark Village v4.7 (st. louis)

Are there any plans for the parking lots north of the development? I know of something. Another residential tower is definite at Walnut and Broadway as well as an office building at 8th and Walnut (behind the Pennant Building). The center lot is up in the air but talks to build a parking garage the...

Looks more like a hotel now because of the windows or maybe they are doing that to make it fit in with the surroundings better. Either way, good to see some more height added to this.

Looks to be of decent quality. The balconies are a nice touch. The only thing I have a problem with is the white cement board/stucco. Looks like it could've been of a darker color but it will look fine.

Re: On-going downtown development projects

Some are easily impressed. Infill is nice in lieu of height. Don't get me wrong, Downtown KC is seeing some nice infill. I'm just saying those two photos are nearly identical. You would have to be a development nerd to really find the differences without studying the photos and even then, there are...

Re: City Center Square for sale

Was LightWell the name of a restaurant on top of the short section? They keep talking about reopening the LIghtWell. Looks open to me if actually a lower case lightwell. I think it's just the developer's name, right? No clue, really. The should rebrand it the "We don't want to pay 95% of our proper...

Re: OFFICIAL - Reverb (1800 Walnut)

Any foundation work yet on this one? Moving a lot of dirt right now. Crane should be up soon, as they've got a sidewalk closure on Walnut for it. Thanks for the update. As many on here know, I live in STL and don't come over to KC all the time to check in on this stuff. Looking forward to it rising...
