Bit gutted as always enjoyed the food there, although the service could be questionable. We were going to eat there a couple of weeks ago, but opted for BBQ instead. Wish I had went there now, loved there catfish starter and there fried chicken.

Re: Plaza move-ins (ongoing)
I was dragged to Forever 21 on the plaza at the weekend by the missues and it defo is a lot better than the other forever 21 stores in the metro. It has mens clothing as well, some of it was a bit suspect but some decent clothes for fairly cheap.

Re: Good places for Kids to eat Downtown
Yeah Fritz was really nasty, their burgers make McDonalds look gourmet, but my son loved it. As for places for the kids to eat we have taken them to the Peachtree (only prob was service can take some time), McFaddens, Chef Burger, Grinders and Tango's. Most of the places were cool with the kids. I k...

More worried about those idiots from Wichita (I think its there) at that church that picket soldiers funerals, the ones that were at Elton Johns concert.

Well I am from the UK and can confirm that public transport is better in Europe than it is in Kansas City. It was quite an eye opener for me that it took longer to get to St Louis on the train that it does to drive. In the UK they are currently updating all the train lines for the new high speed bul...

Here is the link from there website

There are a few empty slots on the plaza so it seems odd to try and force an established tenant to move. Been in a few times for a quick drink.

Re: The Future of Crown Center
I took the kids to crown center on Saturday as they had that new kids exhibit. It was as busy as I have ever seen it, could barely move through the crowds. Very disappointed that the train place has closed as my 4 year old boy is train mad and loves going there. Also disappointed that Waldenbooks ha...

Most of the stadiums in Europe are quite old. The only newer stadiums in the English Premiere League are larger, like Arsenal's new Emirates. I would have thought that Ikea would need a bigger area that what would be left after stein mart. All the Ikeas I have been too (in the US and EU) have been massive and more inline with the size of Walmart supercenter.Pendergast wrote: I hear its between them and Trader Joes and Ikea.

P&L district to host mixed martial arts events
Sounds quite cool "In the shadow of Sprint Center, the Kansas City Power & Light District will hold four mixed-martial arts events that will be nationally televised. The Cordish Co., the Baltimore-based developer of the downtown entertainment district, has formed a stregic venue partnership...

Spoke with a realtor this morning and found out that the two new Minnie Street Singles will be income-restricted as they are being developed/built with stimulus money. No other details. Also in speaking with a realtor we found out that the recent ad in the paper (Thursday) on the 39th street plan,...

My wife went in to get her eyebrows arched and really liked it, she has since made an appointment to get her hair done. The place was quite busy (was saturday monring) with a steady flow of traffic. I just went off to frans for something to eat.KCMax wrote: How was business? Are they attracting customers?
