Re: Power and Light District Official Tenant List

How about a "House of Jazz"
Where are the investors for that idea?

http://www.kctv5.com/story/35153400/voters-to-decide-on-kansas-city-streetcar-track-expansion The streetcar has gone up and down Main Street more than 1.8 million times since its first trip almost a year ago. Clueless Johnson County retards. http://fox4kc.com/2017/04/14/kc-streetcar-expansion-rides...

Re: Kansas City Metro Latino/Hispanic Population

It's hard to hide that many people from every other source of data like utility use, school attendance, health services, groceries purchased, etc No it's not hard to hide using those sources. Most foreign born Hispanics rent, have large households including extended families. The only valid source ...

Kansas City Metro Latino/Hispanic Population

Why is KC's Hispanic population numbers deliberately estimated so low? Charlotte, Salt Lake City, and Providence Rhode Island have more Latinos than KC? KC has only 23,000 more Hispanics than Milwaukee? Charlotte-Concord-Gastonia, NC-SC 227,000 Salt Lake City, UT 206,000 Providence-Warwick, RI-MA 18...

Re: OFFICIAL - Hyatt Regency Convention Hotel

That's not remotely realistic as a replacement design. It shows a lack of understanding of basic structure design. You can't even see the other side to know whether or not there's enough engineered flushing. Thank you for the comment but it's not intended to be a "replacement design.&quo...

Fictional indeed hayseed, because "Kansas vs Boston" works as a possible scenario in a fictional MLB game.

Re: KC in TV and Movies

The New IFC show called Brockmire is based on an Announcer for the Team from Kansas City but I think he then goes to the Minor Leagues for saying bad stuff over the air. The first 3 min were pretty good You can watch the 1st episode free http://www.ifc.com/shows/brockmire That embodies every evil a...

@ 2:11 The Late Show skit mentions "Kansas City Reverse" as a jazz style and shows the skyline upside down.

Re: Westport's fate post-P&L

The historical aspect of the bank building has already been victimized by the new facade.
This facade is not ever going to be removed now.
The Opus project is perfect and necessary for the corner or Broadway and Westport Rd.

Re: Bannister Mall/Cerner

The headquarters of the company that eventually became Sprint was never located in KCMO. Yes, the company moved to "Kansas City" but not to Kansas City, Missouri. As the company grew offices may have been here and there throughout the metro area but it's main presence was never in KCMO. A...

Re: On-going downtown development projects

Has anyone else noticed the strange, undefined, polygonal renderings in the PDF? There's at least three of them (one south of Traders building, one in Quality hill and another directly west of the convention center on Broadway). What are those supposed to be placeholders for? In the case of 12th &a...
