Re: One Light - 13th & Walnut
OK Cordish, bring on Light 3 and 4 announcement. Has Cordish not already said that they will be breaking ground on 3 Light before 2 Light is complete? To me, that's as firm of a commitment from Cordish as we're likely to get in the near term. So, what we're really waiting on, is for Cordish to ackn...

Re: 18th and Vine
I can't help but think the success of most of those projects is contingent on the success of the last one. What does 3 mil get you these days? I agree. I'm afraid they aren't doing enough at the street level to make the "connection" to the Crossroads. Any connection should extend at least...

I noticed this yesterday as well.moderne wrote:Looks like the counter balance will swing out over the interstate when the crane is in operation.
Does this pose any issues with MoDOT? Surely, any encroachment over MoDOT ROW would have been previously cleared with MoDOT, right?

Could the project be moving forward? Possibly? There was a fairly thorough write-up about the project in the KCBJ today: http://www.bizjournals.com/kansascity/news/2016/04/21/copaken-brooks-downtown-tower-tif-sprint-center.html Looks like Copaken Brooks could be running out of time for this specifi...

Re: Wacky Ideas for Bartle's Roof
I got to thinking, and figured I couldn't be the first one to think of it, that Bartle Hall needs to have solar panels installed on its roof. So I did some searching, and figured I'd resurrect this old thread *since this thread has previous discussions on installing solar panels on Bartle Hall. To m...

Re: Three Light
The skyline is changing. Keeping it static means no progress. I wish more people would get on board with this mentality. I'm all for having a "good view" from the Liberty Memorial. But who's to say that the "good view" isn't a view that did not exist 20 years ago? I really hope ...
