~25 secs vs ~3 mins?
Luckily, you can do both.

Re: Thrillist ranks KC burgers

Brewery Emperial has an excellent burger. And Corvino has one on their late night bar menu – after 10 – for $8. The fries at both are some of the best, especially at Corvino.

Re: 110 E. 3rd- Apartment Proposal

All armchair developers should go get a very large loan and then pay the interest on it while they try to find a viable retail tenant, which is a thriving segment of the commercial rental marketplace. While they are at it, get another loan to install a kitchen and then find a restaurateur who will n...

Re: 110 E. 3rd- Apartment Proposal

Centropolis isn't my style, but it gets an A for effort. There is certainly room for improvement. I would say it's better than most of the other recently completed residential developments in the RM. The garage entrance is criminal, as is the mess outside the front door, making it completely inacces...

Re: "Flashcube" Building - 720 Main

I'm puzzled how this building got historic designation (and historic tax credits) without being 50 years old (built in 1973). Flashcubes were introduced by Kodak in the late '60s, well over 50 years ago. Before that, flash bulbs were single use (and also required slower shutterspeeds). By granting ...

Yes, you are wrong. The Historical Society – or whatever kcjak is referring to – cannot dictate what a developer does with a property. Some developments simply don't make sense without the use of Historic Tax Credits as a financing tool. The National Parks Service has a set of guidelines known as St...
