How about mandatory jail time for owners who buy perfectly good buildings and slowly let them deteriorate, neglecting them while simultaneously refusing to sell. That building, along with the cool 2 story historic Sanderson's Diner around the corner and the White Castle across the street, sold at auction several years ago to a cat named Monte. I had dinner there last night, sat at the bar. Everything was exceptional and the bill was reasonable. Service was excellent. I love this place.
Highlights: the avocado crab Louis, burger, pasta a la primavera
