Re: Next Mayor 2019

You are absolutely right. Their attitude towards constituents can cause a loss by just a few votes. They often don't realize this. Long-serving politician staffs say that their candidate often keeps winning (even where their party might be outnumbered) because they are excellent at dealing with con...

Why is the flight to Toronto so late in the day though? It doesn’t arrive until 8PM which makes it irrevalant as a stopover to European destinations.
AC just added a fourth daily flight to STL. It would be interesting to see if that route is O/D or connecting.

Also, Cascone's is calling it quits after 90 years. On Facebook, they're blaming the streetcar.
I had never tried going until the streetcar opened. The few times I have tried going , they have been closed. Was it any good?

Would I pay 3B upfront to get 27B? Yep! No question. ofcourse. anyone who knows even a little about business would but then again, is 27B guaranteed? Where would the money be going? Re: KCI Flight Schedule Adjustments

I'm surprised Air Canada doesn't run more of the Express or Rogue flights seasonally to some of the other hubs to mid tier cities like Kansas City. Would be kind of nice to see an Air Canada Express nonstop to Vancouver or Montreal They MX base does a ton of work for AC, so it could make sense to r...

Just a tenant to give Sprint Center another 50 dates of crowds with a perfect demographic for the P&L district during the slowest time of year for downtown when the area has few visitors during the winter months. If you don't think an NHL or NBA team at the Sprint Center would drastically help the ...

Re: Regional GDP

This new Delta flyer shows the benefit and positive impact of having HQs in ones city. HQs (and even regional offices/hqs) bring significant amounts of outside money into a community - boosting regional GDP. IMHO, we need to shift from having our companies get bought out to being the ones buying oth...

Re: High Speed Rail - someday?

Looks like California High Speed Rail is dead and the only line might be in the Central Valley. That's not dead, it's just truncated. It's a realization that state and federal funding hasn't materialized to build the system as proposed. California has a pretty extensive State Rail Plan that has the...

Port KC has multiple LOI’s for additional housing and a hotel on lot #3 (empty site adjacent to Union). Not sure if the images above are related to said LOI’s.

A beer garden type development is planned to go into the park - near the streetcar station.
