Re: Current Hannibal Bridge

Re: Getting involved downtown

Does anyone know of any organizations or companies downtown that are offering summer internships or would be willing to? Generally in realestate, transit, or anything to do with growing downtown.

Re: KC to STL Hyperloop

If Hyperloop is willing to take bulk of risk, MODOT could take advantage of it with this potential scenario... One of the I-70 improvement options is to build a separate toll highway North of current I70. MODOT establishes right-of-ways (ROW) for the Hyperloop project knowing it very well may fail....

Re: New Broadway Bridge

1. rail tunnel -- have inquired. access to the trench area to connect with any other network is the challenge. lots of stuff in the way in all directions. 2. redevelopment -- i envision a nonprofit entity overseeing the sale of individual parcels. if someone's willing to outbid everyone to purchase...

Re: New Broadway Bridge

When downtown population doubles as well as workforce doubles, the N Loop may be more needed than today. But should cap it, maybe dig deeper underground. Is possible better metro transit with commuter rail could reduce the need but it wouldn't hurt to keep N Loop and go further underground as a lon...

Re: OFFICIAL - Hyatt Regency Convention Hotel

Earthling- Absolutely agree with the thought of residential with the conv hotel. This would not only add the height so many of us would like to see but help with financing, risk. Maybe off subject a little but, if I was a investor, developer, I would strongly consider a spec office tower considerin...

Re: New Broadway Bridge

What's the guess of this actually turning into a serious, big project? Obviously there has been a big PR rollout of getting rid of the highway and reconnecting the CBD with river market, but is this something that has city support or more let's let a few dozen people talk about capping truman road ...

Re: How did Branson get a Ferris Wheel Before us?

I don't know if I'm alone in this but i really believe that the plaza or crossroads is in need of a public meeting space with unique art and entertainment and I always thought that we would/should end up with a Ferris Wheel. One of those surface lots in the crossroads would, or directly in front of...

Re: OFFICIAL - Hyatt Regency Convention Hotel

Development Tracker notes 800,000 non-residential sqft for this project.
Also notes 427 "Dwelling Units" in this project. Is this some sort of apartment addition or such?

Re: Five Light

well you can't say 100% it will be built but glad to see it's in the plans. Let's get 3 and 4 going before we wet our pants on this one. Correct sorry, should have clarified. The intent and the very early stages of planning I can 100% confirm. I guess no one can really predict if it will get built ...
