Re: OFFICIAL - Strata (H&R Block's 2nd Tower)

A few stats from the ordinance:
- Parking garage is expected to rent at $75/space/month
- 1100 jobs to be housed in the proposed development
- Estimated annual lease rate of $32. (Slight above Corrigan 1 and a good bit below Corrigan 2)

Re: 2019 Mayor/Council Elections

I have doubts that Lucas will be able to deliver on reducing crime and turning around the East Side when those efforts have never gone very far before, but I'll get behind him! I don't see Lucas as anti-development, but more development aimed at the right areas (i.e. East Side). He came to speak at...

What is the likelihood that this project generates enough interest in the highway cap project? Would they provide any private funding to it? More residents along the trench will naturally drive interest in a cap. However, I doubt any profit seeking firm will cover the cost of a true cap unless they...

Re: Liberty Memorial Musuem and Penn Valley Park

Replacement trees were planted along the mall this spring. They have next to no root structure, and, as a result, blow out of the ground on windy days. They have been staked and still blow over. A good number are already dead. I don't understand why the Memorial is not better maintained. Is money t...

Re: Liberty Memorial Musuem and Penn Valley Park

I thought this was a national monument now. Why should funding be an issue? I assumed it was being maintained by the federal parks service. It has gotten bad though. There is always standing water on the west stairs which will likely cause issues in the future. The monument is owned by the city who...

Re: KCI Flight Schedule Adjustments

In regards to Icelandair: Flights are back up and running for the 2019 season. The first flight left with just a small handful of seats available. A few sample searches throughout June show about 70s-80s% of available seats have been reserved. That would be a ~90% rate on the 737 Max. Tampa was cut...

So now it's an incentive fight which is so annoying. I really hope this ends up at ccs. Crown center would be...fine.

If this ends up just being Sprint prison hq backfill, I'd rather them stay in dc
I don’t expect USDA to be able to convince anyone to leave DC for the Sprint Campus.
