Re: North Plaza Hotel- 46th and Broadway

The neighbors with views had years before to form a corporation, buy the air rights and restrict height. They didn't. The City needs to ignore this "right-to-their-view" crowd in the approval process. I'm assuming some who oppose it are Parkway Tower people. No one stopped their 13-story tower when ...

Re: Status and future of the River Market area??

The President Hotel wasn't owned by the City's Land Clearance for Redevelopment Authority. Ron Jury was already renovating the hotel by the time Cordish started demolitions, and the City ha...

Re: Status and future of the River Market area??

I'd like to figure out a method to lobby for its' recreation somewhere downtown where it wouldn't end up being obstructed by a future building. Why was the River Market once referred to as River Quay? We answer your KCQ. https://ti...

Missouri has 55,448 federal workers. Kansas has 25,007 federal workers. Many federal workers for both states are located near the Kansas City Metro. The federal prison and military base at Leavenworth would account for many massed around the KC Metro. I can't figure out though if Leavenworth employm...
