Re: Companies moving downtown

I doubt financing for Copaken would be a problem since they are a developer with a reliable history, and presumably have a tenant for 1034 Main who is also putting up money(if it's W&R).

Re: Attention regional businesses

https://www.loopnet.com/Listing/1034-Main-St-Kansas-City-MO/4258676/ I noticed that the 1034 Main page was updated recently and shows a 2021 completion date. Do we think that could be where W&R is going? It's a possibility. The fact they updated the page, and placed a completion date, would lead on...

Could a citizen petition force a vote on a bistate tax for a new Royals stadium? ... At the same time, it is not idle chatter. Because, as it turns out, the original bistate machinery that enabled the reconstruction of Union Station is still in place, able to rumble to life if the Royals — and, for...

Fifty years ago,the only Metro-Missouri county that could afford to finance a stadium was Jackson County. There was a political reason that the stadium was placed closer to Raytown, Blue Springs, and Independence. To get enough Jackson County residents to support it, you needed the support of Easter...
