Re: P&L District: 14th & Main Site Proposal

There's a zoning permit dated yesterday for the space at 1300 Grand for The Hookah Lounge KC. Looks like this is the corner under the Hotel Nightclub sign.

Is this the new tenant set to be announced?

Re: Misc Crossroads News

Not to go off on too much of a tangent but when exactly is City Club apartments supposed to break ground? I thought financing was lined up and they were looking at a fall groundbreaking. I've been following the permits on KIVA for this property and everything went quiet in the middle of August. A l...

Look what showed up in the KCMO development tracker today...

Can confirm that there are two lower-level retail spaces plus a leasing office on the ground floor.

Re: OFFICIAL - Ashland at River Market

Found a new rendering... This is for an 87-unit apartment building directly north of the River Market North streetcar stop. The development is called 'Ashland's' and it was designed by NPSJ. Based on the rendering it looks like it is mostly a 6-story building, but 7 on the far east side. I see 2 spa...

Re: Misc Crossroads News

On the upcoming PIEA schedule has an abatement request for 1717 Walnut, which is the building just north of the Walnut Terrace project that appears to be getting close to completion. Currently, there weren't any details as to what the plans are for the building.

Re: OFFICIAL - Loews Convention Hotel (formerly Hyatt)

FYI - A CRBL permit (Commercial building plan review) was recently issued for the Convention Center development. This is the first permit you typically see for a new large project, and typically precedes groundbreaking by 4-6 months. For instance Arterra 21's CRBL dates to March 30th of this year. K...

FYI I ovearhead at the end of the press conference that the Edgemoor proposal didn't have renderings. Think I heard that they had SOM (Skidmore, Owings, Merrill) as part of their team.

Re: OFFICIAL - Hyatt Regency Convention Hotel

At this point, it wouldn't be very smart on Cordish to name the third tower something other than 3 light. The 4th tower will likely not be 4 light though, so there's that. If they make it to a 5th and 6th tower, I don't see them sticking the # light label on those as they won't be sister buildings ...

Re: OFFICIAL - Hyatt Regency Convention Hotel

A lot of renderings we haven't seen yet are available in the document downloadable from this page . A lot of the commentary on here about the street-level experience around this building, especially along Baltimore, are brought up by the City Plan Commission. Everything is towards the end of this do...

Earlier this week I noticed they had one window installed on the 9th Street side that looked like it was the final product. It was flush with the opening and was had a dark green or black frames. Looked vastly different, and much better.

Re: Kansas, Missouri battle over companies

I've seen various tenant finish permits over the last couple of weeks (but can't find them now) for GlynnDevins, an ad agency currently located on College Blvd in OP, opening a location in one of the office buildings along the southern edge of Ward Parkway. I don't know if it is part or all of the c...

An unnamed KCMO company is looking to receive EEZ tax credits to move to either 12 Wyandotte Plaza or Crown Center... See link for more details I'm assuming these things operate with code names - this one is called 'Project Park - as I've never heard of a company with that name. These are the detail...

Believe these renderings to be of the condo portion of the plan, I believe these buildings will be on the west side of McGee Trafficway and on the southern side of 27th between McGee and Warwick.
