Re: Streetcar to the riverfront

In the 6/10 PortKC development meeting, there is a line item for increasing the funding for the Riverfront Extension.

Here is the agenda.

There are no other details there I can find - so I don't know how much or what is being funded by this proposed increase.

It links to a JE Dunn login page.....is that supposed to happen? Sorry about that, the same thing happened to me... guess it has to be accessed from the Port KC website. Thanks for pointing it out. Here's a link to the RFP page on the PortKC site where this document can be found. I'll go back and e...

Found an RFP for demo work for the new 'Lightwell' incarnation of this building on the PortKC website. Document is here. EDIT: The RFP can't be accessed directly, so the earlier link did not work. Here's a link to the PortKC page where it can be found. Not a whole lot of new information in it, but f...

There is a plan on compasskc to renovate the American Red Cross building at 211 W Armour Blvd into 67 apartments. The permit, and multiple diagrams and renderings (on the attachments tab) are located here . I might be reading the diagrams wrong but it appears the building will have 13 basement apart...

Re: Would you like to see the Royals move to a downtown stadium?

A ballpark downtown would bring 2 million people a year to the area (and not just people from the KC). IMO, It would be a huge missed opportunity if it went elsewhere.

Re: OFFICIAL - 909 Walnut

My understanding is that Spokes is still negotiating with the potential new owners of the building. Nothing is final yet until (unless) the building sale goes through. Until then, Scooters will be there and the closing is not imminent.
